Crafted to Stand Apart

Estate-Grown Highland Agave

We source 100% Blue Weber agave exclusively from Feliciano Vivanco–owned ranches in the highlands of Jalisco. Grown with responsible agricultural practices and harvested at peak maturity (6+ years), our agave delivers rich, natural sweetness and complexity.

Traditional Stone & Brick Oven

Our agave is slow-roasted in stone and brick ovens called hornos, a time-honored process that caramelizes sugars naturally and draws out deep, roasted flavors.

The "Mozart Method"

Our master distiller Sergio Cruz plays classical music during fermentation — a method known as the "Mozart Method." The vibrations encourage healthy yeast activity, leading to a livelier fermentation and, ultimately, a happier, more expressive tequila.

Sake Yeast Fermentation

We use sake yeast during fermentation — a rare and artisanal approach that enhances the tequila with delicate floral and fruity notes, creating a refined, smooth finish.

Copper Still Distillation

We distill in small batches using copper stills, which purify the spirit by removing impurities and enhancing clarity — resulting in a clean, vibrant tequila with exceptional character.

Nuestro Maestro Tequilero

Sergio Cruz is the master distiller behind Tequila Rimari — a quiet innovator with a deep respect for tradition and a passion for precision. With years of experience crafting tequila in the highlands of Jalisco, Sergio brings a meticulous approach to every batch, from selecting mature agave to overseeing fermentation with sake yeast and classical music — yes, really. Known for his artistry and attention to detail, Sergio doesn’t just make tequila — he composes it, one thoughtful decision at a time.

The Founders

Tequila Rimari was born from a simple question over a disappointing sip: why should great tequila be overpriced and underwhelming? Founded by Dheeraj Naidu and Vrunda Parekh, Rimari blends tradition and innovation — using estate-grown mature agave, sake yeast fermentation, stone oven roasting, and even classical music during fermentation, known as the Mozart Method. Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco at the Feliciano Vivanco distillery under master distiller Sergio Cruz, Rimari is additive-free, responsibly made, and built to stand apart.
